The costume consists of a long black robe that covers your body completely. There is a hole in the middle of the robe where your head can fit through. The second part of the costume consists of a shoulder harness that has a fake neck attached at the top. This harness fits to the shoulders so that the fake neck sticks out of the robe where the head should be.

This creates a great effect and can be even more macabre by adding a fake bloody knife. You can even add makeup to you own face to make the costume look even more ghoulish and creepy.

The Headless Butler costume

The headless butler costume is not as good as the headless man costume because you cannot reveal your head. Instead the butler holds his head on a silver salver, no doubt to offer to his employers or guests as an aperitif just before dinner. Duty bound even in death. Even so, it is quite a striking costume that will certainly get you noticed.

The costume comes with a butlers outfit of pants and jacket. There is a see through collar component to the costume in line with the eyes so that you can see what’s going on. There is a harness and inflatable shoulders to give the headless affect to the costume.

This is an ideal costume if you are hosting a scary costume party or even one at Halloween. Can you imagine your guests faces as you open the door to welcome them in. One thing to note is that the fake head and silver salver do not come as part of the costume, so you would have to make or buy these items yourself. The Headless Horseman costume

The headless horseman has featured in many creepy tales from European and American authors. It is probably best known from the Sleepy Hollow tale written by Washington Irving. The tale remained popular right up to the present time and was made into an equally creepy film by Tim Burton.

The costume itself is made for kids. It features a glossy black Shirt and Vest. It also has a black ascot and long flowing cape. The key part of the costume is the headpiece (made to look like a freshly decapitated head) and inflatable shoulders to give the illusion that the neck is attached to shoulders.

There is a see through portion of the shirt so that the wearer can see what is going on.

It is a popular costume with kids who are simply fascinated with how the costume works. Not only that but it is extremely creepy when you first see it.
